Windows Mobile 7 is still in development over at Microsoft however three HTC mobiles using the new Windows Mobile 7 have been announced for 2010. These HTC mobile phones include ‘The Trophy’, ‘Tera’ and ‘Photon’, however these could all be T-Mobile exclusives. Official sources have suggested that additional Windows Mobile 7 mobile phones will appear on different networks throughout the year.

The already suspected strong relationship between Microsoft and HTC seems to be re-enforced by this news of the launch of the first Windows Mobile 7 Smartphone on HTC. The rumours suggest that by September 2010 there could be several versions offered across a wide range of other mobile phone brands.

In spite of official sources claiming that Window Mobile 7 Smartphone will not be ready until later next year, others sources have suggested that there may be earlier release in April. Fingers Crossed!
