Lithium Polymer– These mobile phone batteries are probably the best type of battery as the use of Lithium Polymer allows the battery to be slim and light weight.

Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) – These batteries claim to be better than NiCd batteries because they do not contain cadmium chemicals which are not environmentally friendly but can be charged as and when more often, only needing to be fully discharged every few weeks.

Lithium Ion (Li-Ion) – These batteries can be charged whenever and as often as required, They are the most common type of battery used today.
